The lid, hinges and castors are the parts that wear out first. The body of a metal bin usually lasts much longer. Replacing just those parts costs far less than a new bin, keeps it in service and keeps waste out of landfill.
Standard castors suit bins on smooth, level ground. Heavy-duty castors have steel centres and are built for heavier loads, rough ground and bins that are moved every day, such as on construction sites and industrial estates.

One black 1100 litre plastic trade waste lid, one hinge bar and bracket kit, and four castors. The standard kit has two braked and two unbraked standard castors. The heavy-duty kit has four heavy-duty steel-centred castors.
